One was bitter and the other had favor.

Do you know that Mary, the mother of Jesus, her name means bitter? Did you know that Hannah, the mother of Samuel, was regarded as having favor? From the outside looking in Mary seems to have had her cake and ate it too! If favor looked like what Hannah’s portion was, some would say, “I don’t want it”. However, these two stories have a plot twist; both of them came out on top because of their “YES” & “PERSISTENCE”!
