Wk 4 - It’s Either Him Or Me

Money can shift our focus to things instead of God. Whether we realize it or not, we can replace our dependence on God to meet our needs with our wealth or riches. This is called the spirit of mammon. It’s an unrighteous spirit that desires to rule our hearts and minds. God says that we can’t serve both Him and mammon. We must decide. We can either invest our time, money, and resources into the Kingdom of Heaven, or material possessions we accumulate on earth. This message on money, materialism, generosity, and stewardship communicates the importance of using our time, talents, and treasure to serve God, instead of the reverse—serving our money.
